VCS Police has successfully delivered five fully converted Mercedes Sprinter Personal Protection Carrier vehicles to North Yorkshire Police, supporting frontline capability with purpose built operational assets.
The contract covers five Mercedes Sprinter vans converted to PPC specification, each prepared for demanding operational use. Every vehicle features a full blue light emergency conversion alongside a role specific internal layout focused on officer safety, secure equipment storage and rapid access in live scenarios.
Each vehicle includes a bespoke rear racking system designed around the customer’s equipment profile. The layout maximises usable space while keeping critical kit secure, organised and easy to reach. A fully integrated detainee cell is also installed in every vehicle, built to deliver safety, strength and practical day to day functionality.
From initial design through installation and final handover, the delivery highlights VCS expertise in complete emergency vehicle conversion. Each unit was delivered ready for immediate deployment, helping ensure operational readiness from day one.
This latest fleet delivery reinforces the continued role of VCS in providing specialist police vehicles engineered for real world frontline demands.
